Video is here:
Basics:
- 2003 Ford F150 Lariat
- 5.4 V8 engine, automatic transmission
- 200k’ish miles (exact is unknown)
- one minor accident in 2007
- 2wd (this is NOT a 4WD truck, if it was it would be more $$$$)
- clean GA title in hand, no funny business
- I have one (1) key and one (1) working remote clicker/fob
- it has a power sliding rear window and it likes to open but closing it does not always work, I unplugged the switch
- sunroof works and does not leak
Mechanical condition
- overall she is great shape
- Motorcraft plugs are new (I did not craptastic Autolites)
- coils were replaced a few years ago
- new rear pads
- new drive belt
- front end was rebuilt in 2020
- EVERYTHING WORKS
- locks, windows, updated stereo, key fob, lights, gauges, etc etc etc etc etc
- very nominal seapage around the oil filter housing It does not drip on the driveway – for an 03 with 200k miles I felt no need to worry about it. If you want to, you are more than welcome to get after it
- cranks right up
- does not clank, ping, knock, smoke, run hot, or make any funny noises
- battery is good
- tires about halfway through their service life
- I would drive this truck anywhere I had to tomo
- coolant is fresh
Cosmetic condition
- this has always been a non smoker vehicle
- I took it in on trade at my dealership from a friend who owned the truck since it had 56k (!) miles on it
- the paint and body are very clean with no concerns
- there are a few spots the paint has peeled off which is very common for these model years
- the interior is leather and in very VERY good shape
- there are no rips, tears, burns, smells etc
- the interior would be in good shape for a truck that has 100k miles on it let alone 200
Come on guys, don’t waste my time and also don’t waste your time. We are all busy people with life so no need to come kick tires and the say.yeah but it has a lot of miles on it. We know this, this is not a news flash nor a surprise.
If you want it that's awesome then let’s do it. If you don’t that's also cool and I will lose no sleep bcs I know it’s a good truck and someone will get solid usage out of it and in the meantime I will keep driving it
Please text me. Due to the never ending influx of spam and sales calls I do not answer my phone if I do not know who is calling me. If you have to call me, then leave a message and I will call you back once I know you are a human calling about the truck.
