Vehicle Description
Owning this car has been a dream come true. This car was built for auto cross or track duty and it is a very clean example of what a 2.2 liter naturally aspirated high performance engine in a roadster can do (yes 2.2L more on that below). This car's exterior is not in perfect shape but it's blemishes are minor for a car of it's age. There's no egregious body damage, there are no dents or dings, the paint is old and the bumper is worn and that's about it for issues. It's needing a new, loving home and that's about all you'll have to do. I've owned it for 3 years now, and raced it in three seasons at RMSolo events (about 10 events total). I'm focusing more on dirt / rally racing and this car is being replaced by a more capable vehicle for my racing needs. I could keep it but then it wouldn't get driven enough and that's not good for anyone... This car is not meant to be a daily driver, it is not meant to be pretty and neat. It is loud and it is physically demanding to drive it, this may mean this car is not for you. I don't need help selling it, and I don't need you low balling it.

Basically every failure point on this car has been addressed or had maintenance recently completed. It's got a new motor, and it was previously edged for STR class, but due to a rule change about computers it needs the OEM computer re-installed in a piggyback mode. I have the OEM computer, so it's just a matter of install and tune. It could be used at High Plains Raceway or for time-attack and drift events with no modification. I really hope who ever buys it enjoys her as much as I have using it as it's intended. Thanks for looking. Please send me an email through craigslist if you're interested. Please serious offers only, cash in hand. I will not accept trades or payment plans.
FYI the title is salvage because some douche in Texas slashed the top and keyed the car. It's been repainted and looks good from a few feet away. It's marked as non collision salvage, and the replaced cloth top is still in good shape and functional.
