Vehicle Description
This is a 2003 Saab convertible. We bought this car online several months ago without looking at it expecting to move here, but ended up not moving here after all. We ended up having to do some work to it to get it reliable because it had sat for awhile, but not everything I wanted to do was finished so our loss is your gain.
-200k miles, but runs great
-Automatic transmission
-AC, PW, CC power heated seats and CD stereo. All of this stuff works well.
-New water pump last week due to it starting to leak
-Tune up with spark plugs and filters
-Battery replaced
-Top works, but is "fussy" sometimes. By this, I mean when opening it, it will sometimes stop and beep at you, but then finish opening anyways. But it does open and close completely.
-Body and interior are in reasonably good shape for their age
-Runs and drives well. Turbo works well. No smoking.
The not so great things are:
-One of the motor mounts clunks sometimes (we bought both but have not had them installed)
-It will probably need new tires
-The valve cover gasket needs to be replaced (this is also included)
-It is a bit dirty inside and could really use a good detailing
Its a good car that needs a bit more to make it a great car. This was the last year of this unique and fun model, and it comes fully loaded with all the options and special wheels. We bought it because we've had similar Saabs in the past and they lasted for many trouble free years and were a pleasure to drive.
Open to reasonable offers. Email me your number for a quick reply.
