Vehicle Description
I have a nice 2003 Silverado Z71 for sale. It has the 4.8L Vortec, automatic, electric 4X4. It's extended cab and has cold AC. I added some options to it. It has steering wheel controls for the dash and radio plus leather steering wheel. I just have not taken it to Chevrolet to have them activate them through the computer. I also painted the mirrors and door handles to match the body. Looks much better. Installed a nice CD player with Bluetooth for hands free calling, Ipod, USB and other fun stuff. With and add in module, the steering wheel controls are supposed to work with it also.
Interior is clean with no rips or tears. Glass is all good with no cracks. Dual climate controls. Comes with keyless entry remotes also, I was going to have them programmed with the steering wheel.
CARFAX report available.
The truck is very nice and dependable. Starts good, fairly new battery, engine sounds good, transmission shifts good. Everything works like it should. 4x4 system works good also. It has 228k hiway miles. Drove it to Kansas City and back a month ago. I am selling it because it's an extra truck I don't really need and I have my eye on a car. Just replaced all of the brake lines with brand new GM coated lines. GM trucks of this era are plagued with bad brake lines. They were not coated and rust out. Common problem on these truck but GM won't recall them. They just offer a complete brake line kit reasonable for you to fix their problem.
It has a rebuilt title because it was a recovered theft. The only thing that was damaged was the locks and the ignition switch. The truck had been parked because the brake line blew out and had no brakes. The radio was stolen and that was it. No body or frame damage. I have before pictures. I have been driving it with out any issues whatsoever. Open to reasonable offers or partial trades for cars or trucks that need work. Would trade for a 70-74 Challenger or late 60-early 70's muscle car needing work or whatever. Camaro or Firebird. Chevy or Dodge. No Fords. Would also consider a newer model Challenger that needs work or a good body.
