Vehicle Description
I am selling my 2003 4x4 Ford F250 Powerstroke 6 speed manual. Yes it is a 7.3 Powerstroke with the ZF6 transmission!!! This thing is a fantastic truck and has served me extremely well over the time that I have owned it. I purchased the truck 2 years ago with right around 176K miles on it and since then I have put on about 43,000 miles. This truck has been my daily driver for the past two years and as you can tell by the mileage, I have put on it has gone the distance for me. I have taken it on countless trips to Nebraska and back for work without a single major issue. Over this time, I have towed with it many times and it has towed phenomenally. The truck is completely stock accept for some minor upgrades that I did to it to improve drivability and let the engine run more freely. As you can see from the pictures it is a Lariat model truck and for the mileage the interior has been kept in very good condition except for the typical drivers seat wear. As far as options go, it has dual heated/powered seats, power mirrors (08-10 upgraded), power windows, tilt steering wheel, and keyless entry. Now I know what you may be thinking, how is an F250 a dually truck? The owner before me had the axles professionally swapped to 1 ton axles and springs to convert it over to a dually. So even though it is an F250, it is essentially an F350. The previous owner also had an exhaust brake installed which has been absolutely awesome to have.
As I said, this truck has been my daily driver and so I have started on all the needed maintenance to keep it on the road for a long time. This is the list of items that has been done to the truck either under me or by the previous owner.
Flatbed completely rewired with LEDs (done professionally)
New trailer break controller wired in (done professionally)
New power steering pump in the last year
New slave cylinder for the clutch in the last year
Oil changes every 5,000 miles
Regular fuel filters every 10-15k miles
Replaced 2 injectors that were starting to get weak (done professionally)
Upgraded 6637 air filter (help it breath better)
Upgraded 4” exhaust (help it breath better)
Upgraded bellowed up pipes (fixed the flawed leaky factory system)
Upgraded turbo billet compressor wheel (wicked wheel 2) to eliminate the turbo surge while towing
fully rebuilt turbo (all new bearings, new seals, hardware)
PHP Hydra programmer
If you are concerned about the performance chip that I installed you should know that the programs I have been running on the truck were custom programmed for this specific trucks computer at Power Hungry Performance. It is not one of those cheap generic tuners for this ole girl. They are known in the 7.3 community as the best option out there for these trucks. I wanted the best of the best for the reliability of this truck. I have been extremely happy with all of the tunes on the chip. It simply provides a modest performance increase to make daily driving more tolerable in an
old truck. If you are still concerned about it then you should know that the programmer has been on the truck for less than 15,000 miles and can very easily be removed.
If you know Ford 7.3's at all then you know what you’re looking at when you see a crew cab long bed lariat ZF6 7.3 truck. I have dropped the price some because tires will be needed in the future. I was going to buy new ones myself for the sale but I thought the new owner would rather get the tires of their own preference. There is always some wiggle room on the right deal, but as expected I will already be losing some money on this sale so be reasonable on offers. If you think it is worth an amount let me know. The worst I can say is no. The best way to get in contact with me would either be by text or email as I may not be able to answer a phone call at all times. My phone number is Seven 2 Zero – 2 Seven 3 – Five 4 One 4. Email Should be linked to this page.
