Vehicle Description
It's finally time to let someone else enjoy this 2004 BMW 330i 6MT ZHP.
This car has been my daily driver for 6+ years and is an amazing car.
I was specifically looking for a 6MT ZHP for quite a while until I found this one in IL. If you're an enthusiast you already know how special this car is. The inline 3.0 liter inline 6 motor is German engineering at it's finest.
I want to list the bad things first.
- As you can see in the pictures, the Midwest winter, ice, and salt has started to rust around the wheel wells, especially the rear wheels and around the trunk.
- There is some wear and tear around the Alcantara steering wheel, a tear the drivers seat, and wear over the shifter
- The engine uses a little oil during normal driving, but does not leak.
- The headlights are not the brightest at night, despite just putting new Xenon bulbs in it.
- The E-Brake does not hold the car well anymore.
- The SES light is on due to a secondary air pump code and the post cat O2 sensor because of the catalytic converter.
Here are the goods.
- This car has been my daily driver for years and I would not hesitate to take it across the country!
- I've maintained and replaced many things on this car to keep it running well. It has good front and rear brakes, replaced the radiator expansion tank, water pump, VANOS, Disa valve, head gasket, spark plugs, rear shocks, thermostat, etc
- There are 2 sets of wheels and tires. A full 17" winter set, which are on the car now and the original 18" M sport wheels (shown in one of the other pictures)
- Heat and AC working fine
- Clutch pedal is great and shifts smooth.
This car still has a lot of life left for the right buyer. It starts right up and runs great as well as getting around 25-26mpg.
