Vehicle Description
Interior Features
The four-door Cadillac SRX wagon has an optional two-passenger third-row seat that powers up or down flush with the rear cargo floor. This gives the SRX the ability to seat up to seven people.
V8 model, Air conditioning with dual-zone automatic climate controls, the OnStar telematics system, a tilt leather-wrapped steering wheel with radio and climate controls, cruise control and leather upholstery are standard.
Exterior Features
The wagon-style 2004 Cadillac SRX has a sleek, shiny look with a front-end that reminds one of the CTS. V6 models use 17-inch wheels; V8s 18-inchers. The SRX also has a manual liftgate without a separate opening window.
Performance
Rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations are available. The V8 engine is a 4.6-liter Northstar variable-valve timing model. It lets the SRX really move with 320 horsepower at 6400 rpm and 315 lb-ft of torque at 4400 rpm.
Features four-channel StabiliTrak active suspension control and available segment-first Magnetic Ride Control.
Safety and Security
The safety features are plentiful. Dual front airbags, side airbags, front and second-row curtain side airbags, an antiskid system, a rear-obstacle detection system and antilock 4-wheel disc brakes are all standard.
Flaws:
A few sensors need to be reset - the front left top airbag sensor, the check engine light, back left tire sensor, coolant sensor all need to be reset. It’s unsure if the airbag needs to be replaced but the drivers side airbags are intact. The check engine light is likely due to the catalytic converter, though it still does not need to be replaced for a while. The back left tire sensor just needs to be reset as the air in the tire and everything check out fine - this is the same case with the coolant sensor as we had this checked twice now, sometimes it shows, other times it doesn’t. Additionally the back right power window is hung up and needs to be fixed - though the back left one had the same issue and was fixed. There is slight paint peeling on the front bumper but the rest of the car looks great.
Conclusion:
I just put a brand new battery in the car last week. Tires are great / brakes are even better, the car is super clean and has nice floor mats and plenty of room in the trunk. The only reason why I am selling this car is because I am just not an suv type of guy. I’ve always had Honda’s and I bought this car off a family member. Kelly Blue Book has this car valued at $2300-$4200 for the V6 Model** additionally valued as “good” quality as compared to “very good” which I feel it is. Additionally this price range is also the associated value at 128,500 miles - so 30,000 more miles than are on the car currently. I’m asking $4000 but I’m down for offers or trades.
