I replaced many parts on it-New Brake Pads, New Rotors, New Brake Caliper's, Front Axle, Mass Air Flow Sensor, Throttle Body Gasket, Oil Change & Oil Filter, etc., It needs front struts, 2012 Ford Focus coil springs fit perfectly, so you won’t have to buy the whole strut assembly, just the shocks along with the Ford Focus coil springs will save you money.
It most likely needs a Crankshaft Positon Sensor-$15-20. Five to ten minutes to install.
It may also need a manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor- $25-45. Five to ten minutes to install.
But either or, it just needs a few hundred dollars-worth of parts and work. For less than $1700-$1800 you can have a very good running, reliable, road-worthy car. Just needs some TLC.
