Vehicle Description
This is an ultra rare 2005 Audi Allroad Quattro 4.2. This is an off-road focused edition of the A6 Advant wagon featuring adjustable air suspension for increase ground clearance and stability control, larger wheels and tires, large carbon fiber body color fender flares and bumpers (ultra rare), 4.2 V8 engine, and of course, Audi’s famed Quattro all-wheel drive system. Current Allroad models are imposters, with only an aggressive trim package. This car is the real deal and has a cult following.
This vehicle is the only car-based SUV to successfully complete and official Land Rover test course making it literally, the most capable car ever made.
Unsurprisingly, this car is perfect for New England weather and is the best car I’ve ever driven in snow. This car could clim a tree. Is you do t know how special this car is, you shouldn’t buy it.
Fully loaded, sun roof, black leather, navigation, Bose sound system, carbon fiber fender flares (super rare trim package).
This car has been good to me for a long time. Unfortunately, life happens and I have to let go. I’ve done a ton of work to it recently (see below), $10k+.
It currently runs rough and will need a timing chain service immediately. It drives but shouldn’t be driven due to potential issues with valve clearance if the timing gets too out of whack and IT WILL NEED A TOW once sold. When that’s done it should go another 100k miles without issue. You see these around with 300k miles on them.
-Brake pads & rotors ~10k mi ago
-Tires 10k mi ago
-Oil pan gasket replaced 15k mi ago
-Valve covers 15k mi ago
-Center main oil gasket 5k mi ago
-Transmission fluids and service (shifts good) 5k mi ago
-Headlights refurbished
-Wheels painted
-Front/rear bumper insert painted (factory comes off-road carbon fiber unfinished)
Besides the timing service that is needed this car is flawless cosmetically and all other mechanical issue already addressed.
Asking $2k OBO.
