Vehicle Description
This car is in great condition but comes with a transmission that wont drive. The engine starts and revs strong but the transmission will not move any power to the wheels. I called around asking for undiagnosed, worst case scenario repair, and received quotes between 3300 and 4400, with the most attractive quote being 3800 for a full performance rebuild of my transmission by Karl Heinz in Birmingham, MI. Guy said the price could only go down from there after he actually gets to diagnose the car. This car comes with a very tasteful and complete Renntech power package, and forged 20Inch AMG wheels. Supporting mods include: 550cc injectors, a full set of billet pulleys, a supercharger pulley shield, and a supercharger belt wrap. Previous owners spent over $33000 putting these upgrades in. I have measurements from two different dynos that verify 580-600HP and 600ft-lbs at the wheels. The service schedule has been followed, and additional recommended services have been performed including ABS fluid flush, replacement of all powertrain mounts and driveline rubber couplers, along with a replacement of the supercharger pulley bearing. The car has never been tracked while in my possession, and the transmission failure occurred while driving normally in city streets. All other systems work flawlessly, including the ABS suspension. The car has never been driven in the snow and there is no rust on it. Despite its power figures the car has been driven responsibly and the Continental ExtremeContact summer tires are in like new condition to support that claim. I want to sell it because I bought a new summer car and I dont want to deal with the transmission repairs. When compared to similar listings, my asking price leaves ample budget room for any type of transmission repair required to get this rocket back on the road
