I got this car 3 years ago from an older man at my family's church. His kids bought him a new SUV as a gift and he stopped driving it. When I got it the heat didn't work. The heat now works but it never turns off. The miles are up there but the engine is strong. Transmission is smooth. Everything drives fine. Handling is okay and all that. Interior could use a cleaning seats are good bolster and armrest has wear. The electronic seats work. All of the buttons work. The dashboard lights everything functions
Recently it will start but then stops running it stalls out. I don't know why. I've checked the fuses they all look good so it's looking like a fuel pump.
This has been my backup car and my daily driver has also started having issues so I'm just looking to let go of both and move forward into something new.
I know it's not much of a deal but if you want to make me an offer shoot me an email. I'm open. I kind of just want to get rid of it if you're handy and can fix that sort of stuff. And you've got the time to drop a fuel tank and put in a new pump. Take advantage of my situation. I need a down payment for a new car so I'm willing to negotiate on this one. it's been solid up until this stalling issue.
The constant heat thing is due to a vent flap that will not close. It's behind the airbag and there are a bunch of YouTube videos about how to get to it. Ways to fix it and how to deal again. Between kids and work I just don't have the time. This was my backup car so I didn't really care and I mostly drove it in winter so it didn't really matter. But you would want to fix that if you're going to be driving in the hotter months
