If you want a sleeper boosted Subaru to beat V8’s this is the car for you. The 2005 Legacy Gt comes stock with the Ej255 turbo, basically a STI motor in a legacy. This car is fast, loud and not the easiest to drive with the stage 2 clutch and flywheel that being said if you are a new driver or don't know how to drive stick this car is not for you. The car may not be perfect cosmetically but it really shines in performance and will beat most cars on the road. The car has a lot of upgrades and money in it as stated below.
Exterior
Yakima roof rack don’t currently have on the car
Carbon fiber grill
Engine
(Could have more upgrades that I haven’t listed bought the car on auction and didn’t have much contact with the previous owner)
Timing belt was replaced at 115k
X02 Racing Front Mount Intercooler
Unknown brand cold air intake and charge pipe
GrimmSpeed boost controller
Perrin Blow Off Valve
Perrin Pulley
Perrin Catted Downpipe
Mufflers delete but right now I’m running open a downpipe will include the rest of the exhaust with the car.
Borla headers and up pipe
Innovate Motorsport Wideband
Rev 9 16g turbo with 300 miles on it
New Spectre air filter
New post cat o2 sensor
Fresh oil change and coolant flush with 300 miles on it.
Suspension and transmission
5 speed manual transmission
Short throw shifter
Stage 2 clutch and flywheel
New clutch fork and throw out bearing with 150 miles on it.
New driver side axle and ball joint
Cons
The car has rust. It is mainly in the rear. I painted most of it with rust remover.
The car leaks some oil not sure where.
The transmission is loud I believe due to the upgraded parts.
I need a new axle boot on the passenger side. The part is $40 right now I have the boot taped shut but it is just a temporary fix.
Could use a professional tune runs well as is but is definitely not at its peak hp and could use a tune if you want to go faster
The interior and exterior aren’t terrible but have some dents and tears here and there.
