Vehicle Description
2005 Subaru Outback XT
189,063 miles
Lowered on coilovers
Engine rebuilt by previous owner at 184,XXX miles
Turbo, timing belt, water pump, oil pump, gaskets etc. replaced at time of rebuild
Stainless turboback exhaust, mufflers are Borlas, don't know brand of downpipe etc.
Cobb Accessport with cable and suction cup mount
Sunroof. No leaks, works but needs a push upwards when closing, also tends to pull the rubber
seal partway off when it opens but you can just push it right back on. Could probably fix the
seal with some glue.
Scratch on hood and peeling clear coat on rear passenger door, but otherwise body is in great
shape for a NY car of this age. There is some rust on the suspension components but the body
is very solid.
Rear wiper does not work, previous owner told me it was because the harness to the hatch had
rubbed through and shorted.
Brand new rear pads, rotors, and rebuilt parking brake. Parking brake shoes and all the springs
and adjusters are new, but they need to be adjusted.
I bought this car right after the previous owner had it rebuilt. At first it was throwing codes
(P0021 and P0022) related to the VVT, but after a few oil changes it appears to be fine now. No
codes currently. Before it would throw the codes after two drives every time so it seems to be fixed.
The reason I'm selling this car is the gas tank leaks along the seam in the rear. It will need a
new tank.
Pioneer AVIC-7100NEX Head unit with GPS navigation, Bluetooth, Apple Carplay/ Androiud Auto
compatible, hands-free calling, HD radio, Pandora, on screen controls for ipod/iphone connected
through USB, 3.5mm AUX input, 7" touchscreen. $1200 head unit.
