2005 Volkswagen Jetta (New) - 125,000 mi - Dark Gray - Premium Accessory Package w/ Leather Seats - $3,600

My wife and I are selling her 2005 Jetta, as we’re currently in the market for something larger. It’s been a great car for us for the past 7 years or so, and in that time we averaged only 6,600 miles per year, mainly out to visit family, as we both bike to work in the city. We are the 3rd owners, and has been well-cared for by us since 2012. It has had all maintenance done per the Volkswagen schedule, and less than 1,000 miles ago had completely new brake pads, rotors, calipers and brake lines installed on the front two wheels.

The good: A great, dependable car with lots of life left. Regular maintenance, new brakes and newish tires. Fill leather interior is clean and spiffy. Car runs and drives perfectly, and we have a clean and clear title in hand.

The bad: Has a check engine light on for one of the two radiator fans being out. A friend of ours says its likely a loose connection, but we haven’t repaired it as the other fan has kept the car in cool enough. Two sad side mirrors from living in Chicago. Both have new glass, but have each taken a hit from a passing car while parked.
