This car is on the last leg of its life unless someone wanted to do a big overhaul.

Probably 20k miles left if you were to do NO maintenance. Has 225000 miles. The previous owner did all the usual maintenance up to 155k miles. The last 70k have been less maintained.

The engines strong, but the transmission is failing slowly, which is common with these cars. The car will be fine some days, then other days will have strange, erratic shifting up and down from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, sometimes met with a hard “CLUNK”. You can still drive it without problems if you are very gentle when accelerating. Does not do well in stop and go traffic. Does not do well on steep winding roads. Sometimes the transmission overheats if you run it too hard. With all that being said, the right person could make this car work.

I have recently replaced the alternator and the battery is fairly new. Needs two new front tires and an oil change. There is presently a small, visible oil leak.

CA plates, clean title, tags are expired.

This will work just fine for someone who needs a CHEAP town car or a project/parts car.
