Vehicle Description
I bought this car bone stock 4 years ago from a family friend at 110k miles when I became the Sales Manager at a Logistics company, meaning I would drive anywhere from Bellingham, Monroe, Yakima, Chehalis, to Portland, on any given day making sales calls, racking up the miles. Currently at 165k miles. Another close friend who was a mechanic at Moss Alley Motors in Seattle convinced me to get this car, as he has an identical one with all the same modifications. He has played a huge part in the maintenance of this car.
In April of last year the timing chain tensioner failed so we replaced the intake camshaft, cam follower, high pressure fuel pump, timing chain, timing chain tensioner(all purchased from FCP Euro, famous for their lifetime warranty), and did a manual valve clean (most turbo cars have direct injection which leads to carbon build up. Oil catch can helps a little bit).
January of this year, the car had a coolant leak, so Cohesive Garage in Seattle replaced all the plastic and rubber coolant lines behind the engine.
The car was lightly rear-ended in stop and go traffic in MAY-2018. (the trunk hatch was untouched. Only replaced the rear bumper and passenger tail light. I have pictures.) At that point I had the body shop remove all the door dings and repaint all of the car minus the roof.
This car is the ultimate road trip machine. Good gas mileage, decent amount of power, tons of cargo room, great sound system w/ Google Maps navigation, AWD, and great handling. Oil Changed every 5000 miles w/ Hengst Oil Filters and Rotella T6 5w-40 full synthetic (last oil change was on OCT-8-2019.), and I change the cam follower, spark plugs, and coil packs every year.
As much as I love this car, its my 5th car, and I have to pay for my wedding coming up next year, and its daily duties have been replaced by a MK7.5 GTI. Obviously enthusiast owned. This car needs nothing. A/C blows cold, heater blows hot, has heated seats, power folding mirrors, and sunroof. I even have all 3 original keys including the valet key and the key chain from when it was purchased from, University Audi. I have most of the original parts including the factory wheels with some barely used Yokohama all-seasons mounted. This is an incredibly rare packaged car and the last generation you could get a manual Audi Station wagon in America. I never thought I’d sell this thing, but here we are. Asking price $7000obo. CASH ONLY. NO TRADES.
