Vehicle Description
You are viewing an Audi A6 3.2 Avant which I want gone. I will plan on selling to the best offer I get in the short term, and I will not reply to offers that are at or near scrap prices. Feel free to make an offer, the vehicle is as described, please don't contact me unless you have cash in hand. Trades plus cash will be considered, but cash is preferred.
This car should have a lot of life left in it, but will need some attention. I am attempting to be as honest as possible so that we can both make a fair deal.
I bought it two years ago in a rush, as my previous car had broken down and I needed something with plenty of trunk space in the short term.
I parked it for 2 reasons: It's too low to the ground for the dirt road I live on during the winter, and it has developed an oil leak from the valve cover which also drips on a hot exhaust. It will also need tires.
Good:
Reasonably peppy with the 3.2 v6
No check engine light at the time it was parked 3 months ago
Roomy interior
AWD good in all weather
Previous owner added nicer rims
The bad:
-Rebuilt title, with no issues having the car registered in NH or ME.not sure about Mass, so do your own due dilligence
-Numerous cosmetic imperfections from the previous owner. The most prominent is a ding in the hood
-AC needs a recharge, heat works fine though, and has heated seats
-Needs new tires
-The metallic paint has dulled down quite a bit
-The "directional headlights" function doesn't work.headlights work fine, however.
-Rear window windshield wiper missing, but does have a defroster
-Some rust beginning to appear. Not enough to fail inspection, I believe.
-May need other attention to pass inspection, but nothing I am aware of.
-radio/entertainment center occasionally doesn't work.
-Parked for about 3 months, and counting.
It can probably be driven away, but its not healthy to do so with the oil leak on the exhaust, so I am going to ask that you tow it.
Please note the pictures are from last July or so, and I will plan to detail it again in the next couple of days.
