Used 2006 BMW 325xi AWD 138k miles for sale in Newport, RI

2006 BMW 3 Series 4dr Sdn 325xi All Wheel Drive (AWD) Three Owners 138,000 mi Clean title & Clean Carfax in hand! (No accidents!) Straight 6 Cylinder Engine Automatic transmission Sun/Moonroof Leather I am selling a 2006 BMW 325xi with only 138,000 miles. The body is in pretty decent condition. Frame looks clean underneath. Interior is clean as well. It has the genuine leather seats from BMW which is an upgraded option & they’re in pretty nice condition: No cracks, creases, or fading. The seats are heated as well.

Mechanically the car is pretty solid. This car comes equipped with a straight six cylinder, 3.0 liter engine. This is one of the best motors BMW makes. It is very reliable with lots of power. The car is mated to an automatic 6-speed steptronic transmission. It shifts very quick, and also very smooth.

Brakes and tires are pretty new. Stops good and drives good. I just drove it to New York and back from Newport without an issue. Rides really comfortable, suspension is in good shape as well.

The Bad
Sorry it’s not all good news, but I don’t want to waste my time or yours. So please continue reading while I get into the known quirks.

Sensors

• Brake (DTC: 5f12) The brakes feel fine and the pads look good. I’m pretty sure it just needs the front brake sensor which is $9 on FCP Euro.
• TPMS Sensor. I’ll try checking the tire pressure again on all wheels but I’m pretty sure it needs the sensor on the tire. Any tire place can install them for ~$50 each (parts & labor).
• Airbag Sensor (93cD)- B pillar right. There's one on eBay for ~$40

Leaks

• Air Leak (P0102) - Mass or Volume airflow A circuit low. Could be intake boot or hose. Maybe bad wire to the Mass air flow sensor, or bad ground. Or the sensor might just need to be cleaned. The car doesn’t stall out. The idles pretty solid as well. Sometimes the RPMs just hiccup a little when coming to a stop.
• Oil. It smells like oil when driving a little when it first warms up but goes away. It’s not loosing much. I’m pretty sure it’s just the oil filter housing gasket - It's very common on these cars. The gasket ranges $30-70 and it’s a pretty easy DIY job. It’s not bad to where it’s dripping on the accessory belt either, the belt looks good and doesn’t squeal or anything.

Body

• Small rust spot on the bottom of drivers door

The car has a carfax retail value of ~$8k! It probably needs <$500 in parts and it’s easy little stuff. I discounted it $4k and I'm at only $4,000 OBO. .

I'll entertain offers but if they're super lowball I'll decline because I can fix it all up myself, and give it to my little cousin or something. I don't really need to sell it either, car's paid off and I don't really need the money for anything, I'll just invest it into something. I just have too many projects going on at the moment so I won’t be able to get to it for a few months. Which reminds me: Please, no trades! I don't have the time for another project right now.
Fix it up and ride in luxury for less, or flip it and make a few thousand. Part it out - which would be a shame because it does ride nice, but either way, I don’t think you can really loose unless you set it on fire.
