Take a look at this! Just arrived 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. This Chevy comes with the 6.6L (pre-emissions) Duramax diesel and Allison automatic transmission. This is the truck that every GM fan wants. The full crew cab with the short bed. I had a lenghty conversation with the previous owner who happened to be an older gentleman. This gentleman owned this truck from late in 2009 with approximately 20,000 miles until just recently. The only reason he sold this truck was because he bought a bigger camper. Here we go. If you notice in the photos, there is a small knob on the left side of the dash board with five settings. This is an EFI live tune programmer. The setting are 1 for stock, 2 and 3 for towing, 4 for economy and 5 for race. Each setting other than stock adds additional horsepower. Setting 5 adds the most at around 120 additional horsepower. When settings 2 and 3 are used in connection with the factory tow mode, there is a turbo brake. There is an EGR delete on this truck. The exhaust has been upgraded to a 4 inch system. The complete original exhaust from the down pipe back including the catalytic converter is included with the truck. The previous owner towed a 31 foot fifth wheel camper back and forth to Alaska which accounted for almost 20,000 of the miles on the truck. There currently is a 1.5 inch leveling kit installed on the truck. The stock mirrors were replaced with pull out tow mirrors. The original mirrors come with the truck. The carpets under the Husky liners are just about perfect. Some of the speakers weren't working properly so we installed four new GM speakers. We just installed all new Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT tires. There are rails in the bed for the fifth wheel hookup. Look closely at the rear license plate bolts and you will see that this truck also has airbags. This truck rarely saw winter. Some of the photos show an all original, untouched underbody. We really wanted to showcase this truck as being all original. Aside from a few minor imperfections here and there and some pitting on the wheels, you will be hard pressed to find a nicer truck.
