Vehicle Description
Selling a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 6.0 2WD utility body work truck.
The chassis has 236,xxx miles.
The engine and transmission were rebuilt by Jasper in 8/2016. The current hours on the engine and transmission are 1184. (Approximately 60,000- 70,000 miles)
The truck has been nothing but reliable but it was time to upgrade to something newer with a larger cab. Never had any issues getting stuck in snow even though it’s 2WD. All the doors open and close on the utility body. Includes keys for locks.
Here’s a list of everything that has been serviced or replaced with new parts within the last year.
Rear yolk (OEM)
Driveshaft U Joints/ Carrier bearing
Steering Box
Idler Pulleys
Knock sensors, Harness, Intake Manifold Gasket (OEM)
New programmed BCM
Air Compressor, Orifice Tube, O Rings, Recharged System
Tires (80% tread all around)
Recent service:
Alignment
Rear end has new fluid and pumpkin resealed
There are some issues with the truck:
The glue from the headliner is failing
CEL for knock sensor, replaced the sensors and harness but didn’t check any of the wires for resistance.
Needs new parking brake cables.
Airbag light goes on and off (I believe it’s just a bad connector under the dash)
Has a vibration while driving, narrowed it down to a small dent in driveshaft.
The work bed is older and beginning to rust. The worst section is the driver rear.
Once again this is a great truck and has always been very reliable. I’m selling this for my boss and can meet in Landing, NJ 07850 for serious buyers and test drives.
Any questions just ask!
