Looking for a Fun Driving, Well Handling Sports Car, not to mention that they will go up to 160MPH, not that anyone would like to do that but they would. How about a sure investment as well these will make more and more money. They are already becoming a collectible. I am willing to trade both cars for just 1 Honda Goldwing 1800.
I invite you to compare value with any other Crossfire out there, If you can even find one. If you are fortunate enough to find one under $10,000 I suggest that you buy it. Soon, $10K will be a low price
The Chrysler Crossfire is quite a remarkable car. It is built on the chassis of a Mercedes-Benz R170 SLK with the Very Reliable Mercedes Motor.
I bought one and liked it so much that I bought a second. First was the convertible roadster with an automatic. Fantastic Driving. Easy Everything Car. I wanted to try the manual 6 speed. Also and amazing car
Now I mostly drive Mercedes, I am 71 and have slowed down a bit and the Crossfires just sit, along with about 10 other vehicles that I find it hard to part with.
I would prefer to trade the crossfires for a Goldwing but if One of the Crossfires is sold, as soon as it sells I will pull the ad and keep the other. Doesn't matter which one, they both have their very own Uniqueness and Value.
Here are the particulars:
Bronze 2006. Low Miles, Good Body. Does have a left front fender that needs straitening. I bought it that way and it never really bothered me enough to get around to fixing it. One person said that he could fix it in just a few hours but I was just too busy to ever bother.
It does need a new headliner material, I don't drive it much anymore and the heat causes it to droop. I've spray glued it a couple of times and its fine but it would be cherry inside with new material.
Runs Great! Looks Good, Keeps Going up in Value. My wife says that I have too many cars and how many can I drive?
Blue 2005: Low Miles, Only 132,000, Beautiful Color and Interior. It had a couple of small dings and scratches. I had a body repair man fix the but never finished. Just needs wet sanding and paint. I have 2 cans in the trunk, matching color.
This is a Very Rare Car. Convertible Roadster, Estrol Blue Color. It does need an Ignition Key. Motor and Transmission are perfect. The key went bad. It won't take the car out of theft mode. It happens with these cars once in a while with the original keys. It happened with the Bronze one as well before I bought it. It has an aftermarket key. You can read online and see fo yourself. I will pay for the key if you have it made and the car doesn't run perfect including shifting. It is a Very Nice Car, I have 2 and just never took the time for this one, I liked it so much that I didn't mind preserving it and not driving it.
No phone number? Because I work most of the time and can't have random, incoming calls. If you ae interested, send me a number and I will be happy to call when I get a break from work. All questions will be answered by phone, I'm not a computer typist.
I like Trades: An experimental Toyota Prius, Goldwing 1800, Semi Guns, Or? Cash doesn't last, things do but I will accept cash if nothing else.
If you are looking for a Fun Sports Car, This is one of the Best that I have found, Great Handling, Just a Pleasure to Drive, Makes the Trip a Much Better Time.
These cars are Special and Very Hard To Find, Nobody wants to sell them. I drove a lot most of my life and decided to do something about the boredom of everyday driving so I started buying different sports cars, I found sports cars to be the most fun so I bought and tried what I thought might be the most fun. Mgs, Triumphs, Smart Cars, Porsche, Mercedes. then I tried a Crossfire, that did it for me. Although it is Mercedes Below and Chrysler above, What a Fast, Fun and Well Handling car.
If this looks like what you feel that would would like to have and you have a good trade feel free to let me know.
Have a Great Day/Evening
