Vehicle Description
2006 Chrysler Town & Country
$1,800
VIN: 2A4GP44R86R705700
Approx. 163,000 miles
Silver exterior / Gray interior
18.5 combined mpg
Clean title / No accidents that we know of (We purchased the car used.)
We are ready to upgrade to a newer vehicle, so we have this one priced to sell. (Based on Kelly Blue Book estimations, we believe this van is valued at about $2,500.) This van has been our regular use vehicle since 2018, but we don’t drive it every day because we generally walk or bike to work.
It is in fair to good condition. Mechanically the car is in good working order. It does have a finicky oxygen sensor that causes the engine light to turn on occasionally. Otherwise, it runs and drives well. We have a complete service record from our ownership time. We have gotten regular oil changes every 3,000-6,000 miles depending on what kind of driving we have been doing. The rear brakes and rotors were replaced about a year ago. The tires are less than two years old, so we’ve only put about 12,000 miles on them.
It is clean overall, but it does have wear on the carpets and upholstery. (We have always used an abundance of floor mats, but it was owned by a family before us.) The exterior is in good shape overall, although the paint could use some touch-up around the handles and the rear bumper.
This model has a DVD player. We have the remote and one set of headphones for this, but we have never actually tested it because we don’t have kids.
We upgraded the stereo in 2019, so it has the ability to play CDs, plug in a flash drive with mp4 files, or connect to Bluetooth. You can connect your phone to make hand-free calls through the car’s audio system.
The five rear seats are all “stow and go,” which is awesome! It provides great flexibility of usage for the vehicle because you can fill the entire back with cargo or use the underbody stowage for car essentials that you want on hand when you are transporting passengers. The stowage area and the full size underbody-mounted spare tire reduce the ground clearance a bit, but this is generally not a problem.
This car is currently registered and titled in Ohio.
Note: The green decal on the bag is a manner that we forgot to remove for the pictures. The two stickers on the window are peel-offs that we will remove as well. The back sports are something that we used for personal comfort.
