2006 Mini Cooper S (JCW) John Cooper Works

118k Miles with factory JCW kit, that means a different head, exhaust, brake calipers and larger rotors, supercharger pulley, injectors, tune, limited slip diff, carbon accents, red brake calipers, HID headlights, all from the factory. HP is up to 207 from the factory. I use it as a work car - hwy driver. It is a 6 speed. I have maintained the car like crazy and have never drove it crazy. Factory hid lights and panoramic roof, VERY RARE CRONO package ,all in working condition. Interior of the car is in amazing condition for the age, it has the normal wear in the expected areas. Aftermarket radio head unit with Bluetooth !! and the steering wheel controls still work, cruise control

Here’s a list of some of the more recent maintenance.

@96k new clutch and rebuilt the trans just because we were in there.

@102k new front struts, mounts and all that jazz, new rims with same tires.

!!Headliner in the car was completely replaced, this is a common issue in these cars.

@105k !!! New jcw spec supercharger w/ Teflon coated rotors, proper 11% under drive factory pulley ( oem jcw spec ) , water pump, thermostat, belt, pulleys, tensioner, coolant flush

@112k Timken wheel bearings both front, BREMBO sport slot rotors, bmw performance pads for the jcw “this is better than the factory jcw pads” new firestone fire hawk Indy 500 tires 215s
all 4 corners New Tires*** New rotors ** new pads ** & new spark plugs.

Adjustable rear sway bar end links not installed “Alta”

I’m sure there are a few things I’m forgetting but will talk about over a call. And this was just maintenance, no major issues ever with the car, this is the last year of the great supercharged engines and this car was produced in the last month of the production run of the first gen mini. So the newest / first gen mini you can get and it’s a JCW!

The bad

it is a highway car and a 2006 and a mini so exterior does have rock chips in the front, the rear bumper was lightly tapped by a trucks hitch “spots the size of a quarter” no major dents or anything, would be a perfect candidate to have a wrap installed. The paint is in good condition overall with normal wear for the age. The ac is not wanting to engage the clutch coil, it is the clutch coil that can be changed 45$ part or put a compressor in just due to the age of the car, the system is good and there are no issues, compressors are 120-300$ depending on what you want. Basically change the coil or whole unit and it’s fixed.

I don’t hat time to change , I did have 2 mechanics diagnose and come to same result “the second was a friend and we just made sure it wasn’t an electrical issue at the controller”
