Vehicle Description
Up for sale is a 2006 Nissan Xterra Off-road. This truck has had some tasteful upgrades added to it including:
3-in lift utilizing upgraded Bilstein shocks
Magnaflow exhaust system with new tail-pipe
Oversized BF-Goodrich AT tires (plenty of life left)
Roof rack with Auto-feel LED bars wired to front, sides and rear
Being it is the Off-road model, it is of course a 4x4. It’s a manual transmission which is a lot of fun to drive and a must have for a true Off-road experience in my opinion. It also has the nifty E-Locker allowing you to get your wheels turning over any tricky terrain.
This Xterra runs and drives wonderfully, has relatively low miles for its age, and is nearly immaculate inside and out. It’s honestly a really good looking rig and I have received multiple compliments. It also has a Rocksford Fostgate stereo system with incredible sound quality.
The not as good:
Branded Title: I bought it from the guy who fixed it up and did the upgrades. The accident was a rear end, all focused on the rear bumper and tailgate.
TPS Sensor: Recently came on. All tires are inflated to the correct pressure, but it will not go away. Believe it to be an issue with the battery of one sensor, seems to be a somewhat common and completely harmless issue (just a little annoying).
Small exhaust leak: Located behind the front left tire. Told it is a cheap fix, but haven’t bothered with it because I never found it to be that big of a deal.
I have had the truck for a year, and have only put a few thousand miles on it. I am selling it because I moved to Los Angeles for graduate school and needed a more practical car to deal with long, congested commutes. As it stands it is living at home with my parents who will be handling the transaction.
This is the perfect adventure vehicle, it even has ATV tags good until June of 2020. DMV tags good until Feb 2021. Also have a very recent report from a vehicle inspection from a shop in town. Asking $6500 OBO.
