Vehicle Description
*The car is located in San Diego* PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING:
2006 Porsche Cayman S in Arctic Silver Metalic with manual transmission and 28k miles. The car is optioned with Black/Stone Grey Interior, preferred package, and Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package.
Let's start with the bad:
- One key (the prior owner didn't disclose this until the last minute)
- One small ding on the left rear quarter panel
- Few stone chips on the front bumper and hood
- Small peeling on the temperature control knob (common issue)
- 3 previous owners (I know it sounds like a lot for such a low mileage car, but owner 1 and 2 are in the same family. The father passed the car to his son, who had it for a few months but couldn't keep it due to family size. Combined they had the car for over 12 years. Owner 3 wanted a faster car.)
If you still decided to keep reading, congrats you just stumble upon one of the cleanest Cayman S currently on the market. The car is in excellent condition. I always drive it gently and park in the garage. No accident, no repaint. She needs nothing but the next owner to take her home. Fog lights were upgraded by Owner 3 to give it a modern look (Original fog lights are included). I am in love with the condition of the car at first sight, so much so that I pretty much decided to buy it on the spot, even knowing that it has 3 owners on paper.
I've had the car for a little less than a year, so why am I selling it so soon? The initial reason was that I bought something more practical to daily. But now I am selling both cars because I need the capital to fund a side business that I've been thinking about starting for years. (Sold the other car, so one more to go!)
Other things you may be interested:
- IMS bearing not done (less than 1% failure rate with the dual row IMS bearing)
- Carfax available upon request. It shows all maintenance records from Owner 1 &2.
- Owner 3 did an oil change and I had a catalytic converter replaced at a European car specialist. (Nothing else need to be done)
- 60% tire treads left
- Clean title in hand, ready to go
Text or email for questions that have not been answered herein.
IF THE POST IS UP, THE CAR IS AVAILABLE.
I am willing to negotiate the price AFTER viewing the car in person (unless you are out of state and you are a serious buyer)
Pre-Purchase Inspection is welcomed.
Please, no low baller, no dealer, no broker.
p.s. tire marks in the pictures are not from my car
