Vehicle Description
The price is not a joke, even though most of the folks that don't have money will make it into one - let the comments flood the post! I have more pictures than what craigslist will allow, so please message me - I have under car pictures, tires, etc.
Selling my 2006 STi with only 21,945 original miles. The mileage is "original" but the engine is new. The old engine was coming apart due to improper useage of a high-power engine. I purchased the vehicle knowing I was taking it back to OEM plus. This thing is super clean, super crispy and super fun!
Engine - New OEM shortblock, cylinder heads, cams, AVCS gears, water pump and timing belt, etc. Literally everything you see in the engine bay is new! Killer B oil baffle and pickup was installed, OEM pan, JDM 12mm oil pump, Brian Crower Valves, OEM springs, 1320 ELH, Grimmspeed EWG uppipe (coated), Tial 38mm MV-S with 14.5 spring pressure, Grimmspeed TMIC, NEW VF39 (original to year), Perrin turbo inlet, Cobb intake and MAF pipe, new MAF and A/F sensor, CSF Radiator, Mishimoto fan shroud and fans, Cobb AOS, Cobb Catted DP, Custom cat-back exhaust (car had a different bumper on it when I built the exhaust, I need to rebuild the axle back section to it sits a bit higher - this will be done before sale), Cobb 3 port boost controller, New OEM throttle body ( I have a new OEM a/c compressor for it - just because the old one is discolored and ugly - A/C works great)....I think I am probably missing a lot of items, but ask if you have any questions, please.
Interior and Engine Management - Cobb AP tuned on 19 pounds of boost, put down 307/377 on 93 by Calvin Dotson at Mach V Motorsports. The car runs and drives great! It has the Revel Gauges by Tanabi, which are my favorite! The dash bezels are SMY and ATI for the gauges. They are wired and tucked nicely under the dash (not a ton of mess under there), the interior is stock and pretty much flawless to be honest. The carpet is beautiful and we have the Subaru all season mats, along with the OEM black floor mats under them which are also new. I could not buy the blue ones from Subaru any longer since nobody has a set of new old stock anywhere, the car didn't have the originals when I purchased it, unfortunately. The receiver is new and has android auto and the door speakers are new JL CL1's. Windows have been tinted 35% all the way around.
Suspension and driveline: Pedders struts and 20mm lowering springs with positive caster mounts (new), whiteline front and rear swaybars and links (new), DSS one piece carbon fiber driveshaft (new), Michellin Super Sport S4 tires (new) - OEM Brembo brakes (lots of life left on them), new OEM front axle shafts and fresh fluids in the trans and differential. The clutch is a stage 2 southbend which was only used for about 1000 miles before installing into this vehicle.
I did have to replace the front fenders, bumper, grilles, etc. The previous owner had a body kit on the car and they butchered the front fenders and bumper, etc. So, I purchased all OEM fenders, side skirts, bumper, grilles, fog light covers and I also have fog lights, and the trim for them which are painted. If you want to have fog lights, that is available. I had the paint work done professionally by a good friend of mine and we used high end paint along with the best clear coat that money could buy us. The paint looks insanely awesome! The car does have a few minor scratches and some tiny little door dings which could easily be worked out by PDR, but they didn't bother me in all honesty. There is a small chip in the roof that has a bit of rust (I have a touch up pen from Subaru that comes with the car), and unfortunately there is a tiny chip in the hood (of course, I drive the car, it doesn't go on a trailer). The exterior is a 9.5/10, interior is 9.5/10, Undercar is 10/10 and engine bay is 9.5/10 - which has also been painted to match the WRB when the engine was out - this is a unique touch that you will not see on many Subarus.
I think I have touched all of the items, but I am sure I am missing plenty of small details. If you are interested in the vehicle, email me. Cheers!
