Vehicle Description
Amazing adventure wagon boosting 3L V6 engine. A step up from the standard Outback, this car has heated leather seats, navigation, a giant moonroof, 6 CD changer, AWD, 5 speed automatic transmission, and only 155K miles. Has hitch installed so is ready for bike rack or small trailer.
Clean title, no accidents, well maintained; I am the second owner and can provide maintenance records if you'd like.
The 3.0L engines don't have a timing belt, so that's not a repair you'll ever need to worry about. Yokohama tires that are great in the snow and are only about a year old.
There are a few mechanical issues on the car; the price reflects the average asking price of the car minus what my mechanic quoted me for a few repairs:
1. head gaskets need to be replaced ($4000)
2. rear struts need to be replaced ($800)
This car is perfect for home mechanics/anybody who is handy and can make repairs on their own; I've seen this car regularly selling for over 10K with more miles than this one.
THE CAR STILL DRIVES FINE; it just gets close to overheaing (it has never actually overheated) after several hours of driving. I have made the drive from Denver to Durango and back several times without any issues. It has a ton of life still left in it and I'm sad to part with it.
Yakima roof rack not for sale/not included in price unless buyer wants to pay current MSRP for it.
