Vehicle Description
Selling my 2006 VW GTI in excellent condition with low miles and a few nice upgrades, with clean title in hand.
80,379 miles
6 speed manual
Mechanically sound, runs great
All scheduled maintenance performed
New thermostat and ignition coils at ~75K
K&N Cold Air Intake installed at ~71K
TT 2.5" cat back w/ single Borla Muffler Dual Tip installed at ~71K
TT Highflow cat down pipe installed at ~71K
GIAC Stage 1 Tune MK5 installed at ~71K
All upgrades professionally installed by SK Motorsport in Bellingham, over $3,500 within the last year with receipts to show for it.
All lights, electronics, etc work great
Great gas mileage (I average around 26-28)
Front/rear brake pads are good
Tires I'd estimate have another 5-10K before a new set
Two key fobs
A/C needs a new compressor, I haven't bothered to have it fixed since I never use it
All weather floor mats
Aesthetic wear on inside and out from normal use. Most noticeable is on center console
The GTI looks, sounds, and runs great. The combo of the Stage 1 tune and the CAI/downpipe/exhaust is amazing! I'm the third owner, the second owner was my uncle; he owned it since 2006 and bought it with 1,000 miles so I know most of the history on the car. It has been garaged for the majority of its life, as you can tell there is zero cloudiness on the HID lights or other indicators of parking outside for a long time. Clean title is in hand. Cash only, unless you happen to have kiteboarding gear, I would consider a trade of that gear plus cash. No other trades considered.
I plan on moving to Bham and downsizing to a smaller place and probably won't bring all 3 of my vehicles, so I'm considering selling the GTI. Don't lowball me please, I don't need to sell and am not in any rush. Feel free to call me or text me with questions or if you're interested. Jeff - 2O6-31O-13four8. Thanks!
