Used 2006 VW Jetta TDI runs mechanic special 160k mi for sale in Redwood City, CA

06 Jetta TDI brm engine code 160k mi runs but one cylinder lost compression. Still has enough power to shift through the gears. Although I would recommend a tow, it can be driven away from it's location. It ran phenomenally for the last 4 years that I owned it. I always changed with race car oil with the VW spec 505.01. could be a valve or piston ring possibly. There is no white smoke or any excess smoke created when it is running. My guess is it is not a head gasket. The motor never overheated, it just felt like it suddenly lost power and an emissions light came on. If you know what you are doing you can fix this car for around $500 or less and drive it for another 200k mi++ make an offer I can't refuse
