Vehicle Description
Wife got a new car so I get her old one and that puts this one up for sale. I've owned this for nearly 7 years. Engine runs like a sewing machine. Uses about 1.5 quarts between changes. Will get upwards of 30 MPG at 65 MPH. New Battery in May and new rear brake pads this summer. Front pads about two years ago and front wheel bearings about two years ago. Cruise and air cond. work. Rear defrost works. Rear wiper does not work. Passenger window will not roll down. Sliding door on passenger side needs new bearings. Sliding door bearings on driver's side replaced this spring. ABS light has been on for the last five years which means if you jam on the brakes, all four wheels will lock up, as they used to do before ABS.
Tranny will slip in Low. If you pull the shift lever down to low it does not slip. You can shift it up to drive and you are good to go. Been this way for a few years. Mechanic says there are two valves that control down shift and initial gear engagement. One or both might need replaced. $450-$500 fix he estimates.
Front bucket seats, mid row seating is folded down into floor. Bench rear seat. So, will seat seven if you want.
Rocker panels have rust. Fine rear tires. Front right should be replaced before winter.
AM-FM. Don't know if CD player works or not - never tried it.
This has been my fishing, hunting and dog hauling vehicle so the inside will need a good cleaning, unless you want to use it for the same, or work van.
Basic transportation for low cost. Has never failed to start in all the time I owned it, except when the battery went dead this spring. Got that fixed.
