Vehicle Description
For sale, is my 2007 Sonata. I have had the car for 4 years and am the second owner. It has a clear title and has been a good little car to own. It hasn't gotten a ton of mileage over the last 2 years, maybe 15k or so, but it currently has 158,xxx on it right now.
I have always changed the oil between 4000-5000 miles and used a high mileage synthetic blend. I am planning on moving somewhat soon, so I need to part ways with it. In the past it has had some issues, but due to all the repairs I have had done, its turned into a reliable daily driver. Over the last few years, it had a Check Engine light, so I could not pass inspection. The light was coming from a Lean Condition, which I could not figure out for quite some time. Recently though, I took it to a reputable shop and discovered that the Intake Manifold gasket was leaking air in, causing a lean mixture. I had them fix this, and discovered the light came back, so I had to replace the rear Oxygen Sensor, and after that, the check engine light went away and I was able to get the car to pass inspection.
During that process though, I replaced a handful of other things:
-Spark plugs around 140k (NGK plugs)
-Mass Air Flow sensor around 150k (Delphi)
-Air filter around 150k as well
-Front/Upstream Oxygen Sensor around 150k
-Entire fuel pump assembly (The whole in-tank unit) at around 155k (Delphi brand - ($400))
-Valve cover gasket at around 150k (OEM gasket kit)
-As stated above, the Rear/Downstream Oxygen sensor and Intake Manifold gasket at around 156k (close to $400 for all that as well)
The car runs and drives great, starts without hesitation and gets excellent fuel mileage.
