Clean NM Title / Clean CARFAX / 3-Owner Vehicle
I have owned the car for roughly 80,000 miles and have treated it like my baby with regular waxing, maintenance, Chevron premium gas, full synthetic oil changes every 3,000-6,000 miles, etc.
The car received hail damage about a year ago on all major body panels. Surprisingly, the yellow paint coupled with the roof rack makes it challenging to pick up any visual cues. The only times you really see it is in lower light situations, or if you are looking very close at the paint.
I love this car; however, am selling it because I am moving to Colorado, so I unfortunately needed to purchase a vehicle with all wheel drive to better manage winter driving conditions.
In the last year I have invested over $6,000 into the car for maintenance and repairs. Unfortunately a large portion of that was the result of the Volkswagen dealership misdiagnosing a faulty crankshaft position sensor. As a result, there is a completely new fuel system from the high fuel pressure rail back ($2,000+ worth of parts/labor). I have roughly 85-90% complete service records since it was purchased 8 years ago. Please see most recent repairs below:
Recent Repairs : - Michelin Pilot AS3 Plus tires all around- spark plugs
- cleaned fuel injectors
- high pressure fuel pump
- fuel pressure control module
- fuel filter
- low pressure fuel pump
- left fog light
- windshield wipers
- hood struts
- trunk struts
Known problems: - sagging rear headliner
- slight dent in front fender
- hail damage
- black door pillar molding sun damaged
- small blemishes in the shift cover trim
- small tear in driver seat bolster
- a few rock chips in windshield
- some paint cracking on rear bumper
- right side gear paddle shifter works intermittenly
- floor mat anchors pulled
(follow Flickr link below to see photos of the listed items) Upgrades: - Miltek Resonated Cat-Back Exhaust (mild sound)
- AWE boost pressure gauge
- Blacked out corner markers (subtle)
- Window Tint
- SportRack roof rack / bike rack with INNO Faring
Additional Information: All services are up to date. No leaks, no known issues (besides listed above), and runs as good as the day I drove it off the dealership lot.
Mechanical inspections welcomed, please bring your mechanic with you when you see the car though.
In addition to my service records, I have a copy of the CARFAX report if you would like to see it as well.
I have a photo album online, with 60+ photos of the car but wasn't able to publish it here. If you are interested I would be happy to send you the link.
