Vehicle Description
2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty XLT 4X4 "Fummins". If your reading this you know what it is. It's a long read and has very important info to follow. Please read before contacting me. This is a Cummins diesel swap professionally done. The 5.9 24 valve Cummins came from a 2006 Dodge 2500 HO that rolled over and was considered totalled by Insurance company. The motor was rebuilt 4K miles prior to being totaled. You could still reach inside cab and start the truck up.
This is the best swap I've ever seen. If you know anything about Cummins you know this avenue of using a good Ford truck platform with the Cummins diesel is a lifetime truck. No expense was spared. Has a brand new transmission from Ford not rebuilt. That was over 5K for the tranny and still has 1 year left on the warranty. It has manual 4 Wheel drive with locking hubs. No electronic switch on dash. The Cummins 24 Valve common rail diesel has less than 20K miles on it now and runs brand new. This build was well over 40K and I have most receipts. You will never build a truck for what I'm asking and have anything close to the quality.
This was an adult build, not a chipped out, stack rolling coal kid truck. Only after-market items on truck are K-N air filter and a tuner that has never left #2 setting for economy and better mileage. This truck gets adverage of 20mpg and sips fuel on the highway. Has to be close to 24mpg on highway. Everything is new from A/C compressor, FASS fuel system to exhaust. The truck has zero rust. I drove this from Tenn. The frame and everything metal is still in new condition. The truck was even painted after all the work was done. There is a small crease 2 inches long on the tailgate. That is the only blemish (easily fixed). Does not leak or seep 1 drop of any liquid. Optimum Diesel in Greeneville Tn did the swap. Both obd ports for Ford and Dodge are there. Everything works, all guages, A/C, heat, new block heater, even radio controls on steering wheel work. No check lights on dash. Here's something very important for Massachusetts buyers: This will not pass Inspection. It has no Cat installed and is pretty much strait piped with no electronic and exhaust B.S In 1.5 years it will be exempt in Ma for emmisions testing and will get a sticker. Most other states this will not be an isssue. I've never attempted a sticker in Mass and have not been bothered. Just another tax. Aftermarket Sony stereo with back-up camera installed. The only item that does work is the cruise control. It is an incredible build. I also just changed the rims back again to brand new stock 2018 Ford 18" tires and rims that have brand new tires. Cost me $1400.00 Looks better and handles so much better than 20" tires and rims in pictures.
Let's not waste each other's time, I tried describing the truck as best I could. It may be in better condition than I described. Only reason I'm selling is I have another truck and just don't drive this much, I'm also building a 1968 Pro Touring Camaro. Why buy a 70K truck when you can have something better for less than half that price. Not looking to entertain low-ball offers or just want to talk about the truck I'm just too busy and not desperate. Thanks for reading, send me an email with your contact # and I'll call you back. No number, no response. I will negotiate very little only with someone standing in front of me looking at the truck. Sorry to sound harsh, just a way to avoid scammers.
