Vehicle Description
2008 GMC Savana cube van with walk through cab.
Please read entire description, listing specs and see all pics before asking questions.
Anyone wanting to look at the vehicle will need to be after hours or on weekends.
We bought this cube van about 4 years ago to use for larger jobs, 2 years ago we bought a bigger truck that could handle more weight and this van has just been used as a storage box since. It has a V-8 gas engine with automatic transmission, dual rear wheel drive, walkthrough door into cab, 8’x11’ box with roll up door, all tires are in have good tread and GVWR is 12,300 lbs.
The mileage is high but engine does start right up, runs smooth and has good oil pressure. When we bought it there was a noise that sounds like tapping, I had a mechanic look at it and he said it was just a manifold leak (wasn't an issue for us).
I installed a new battery, because it went bad from sitting so long (it started right up).
We are including a lift that we had installed in the van at one time (see pics). The lift is not currently installed, but holes are already drilled were it was installed. (“If you don’t have a need for the lift, I will take $350 off the asking price”).
The brake pedal goes to the floor and it looks like the ABS control module is leaking, also its been a couple years since driving it, but I believe the rear brake pads needed replaced when parked.
For this reason it will need to be towed or fixed (I have no problem with someone fixing the break issues in my driveway to help them save some money).
I have taken the above issues and mileage into account and the price is very reasonable!
I won’t go lower on the price, I can get this amount just for the box if I take it off.
This could be a good deal for a mechanic, if the issues were fixed the truck could sell for much more with todays market. Also the lift unit should sell for $500+ (list price new was $3000).
As with all my listing on CraigsList, first contact is through email.
