Vehicle Description
2008 Lexus GS350 AWD
JTHCE96S780021594
I'm the second owner. Bought it when it had 125k miles. Used it to drive to work, so 90% is highway driving. Oil change every 3000 miles only at Lexus dealership. Washed every other week. This car has been babied during all of its ownership. Tow hitch installed to hook a bike rack, no towing.
Pros:
-Fast and very stable at high speeds (+80mph).
-Relatively quiet interior (compared to a camry or a corolla).
-AWD system perfect for snowy weather.
-Reliability of a Toyota; these can run well over 200k miles.
-New spark plugs and front brakes/rotors at 132k miles.
-New Battery installed back in 2020 at 138k miles.
Cons:
-Premium gas
-Below than average MPG performance (averaging 21mpg)
-Rock chips and small scratches and swirls here and there but nothing major.
-Tire pressure sensor needs to be replaced on one wheel
-One tire loses slight air every 500-800 miles (Same wheel that needs a new sensor)
-After 2000 miles of a new oil change, it starts burning oil (no leaks, mechanics at Lexus said it’s normal for these Toyota engines with this mileage, burns a quart every 1000–1200 miles)
-Squeaky brakes, may need new rotors because the ones installed are either flipped (left on right and right on left) or not the correct ones that this GS should have.
All service records are available. Title is clean and in hand. I just did the 160k service for it so it's good to go.
