Vehicle Description
This is a 2008 Mini Cooper S and it is in great shape. This is my daughter's car. She got a newer one and I am selling this one for her. You will be hard pressed to find one in better mechanical shape. I replaced many things, some needing and some preventative to entice her to keep it, but she wanted something newer. There are no leaks, which is hard to find on these of this age. There is evidence of past leaks, but all has been repaired. Every oil seal has been replaced minus the rear main seal within the past 2000K miles. There are also no check engine lights or pending codes in the ECU. Mechanically this is in better shape than any I've seen, but being sold as is.

The bad
1. Parking lot ding on passenger door (pictured)
2. The hatchback handle open button is broken. The rubber button has dry rotted and disappeared. Opens with the key fob fine.
3. Steering wheel showing some wear.
4. Radio backlight dim/hard to read. Those who've owned BMW products of this era know what that looks like. Its pictured.
5. Small crack in windshield on passenger side (pictured)
6. Spider crack on top of front bumper from me leaning my knee on repairing
7. Driver arm rest/console top slide is broken
The good
New parts within the past 2000 miles:
1. Transmission replaced with a used transmission with 88K miles
2. New transmission filter, pan gasket, and fluid
3. New valve cover and gasket, which includes PCV on these cars
4. New water pump
5. New thermostat and water pipe that feeds water pump
6. New oil filter housing gasket
7. New front oil seal
8. 1 new drive axle shaft
9. New oil pan gasket / pan cleaned
10. New oil pump receiver screen
11. New alternator
12. New rear wheel speed sensors
13. New brakes and rotors on front
14. Brand NEW tires, seriously, brand new. All four.
15. 9/19 inspection. Not pictured, because I need to go to the tax office and get the sticker. But the inspection passed 9/21
16. Cold/strong AC
17. No pull left and right, straight as an arrow
18. Timing chain guide wear/break issue these cars were plagued with was repaired before my daughter bought it. This was obvious when I had the valve cover off to replace.
I'm sure there are other new pieces I am forgetting as I sit to write this. It's truly a beautiful car that's ready for a new home. VIN is provided for full transparancy. The price is $4300 firm, below the average KBB "good" value for private party. This is firm, because of all of the new parts / maintenance. This car has flaws listed above, but if you can find one in better mechanical and overall condition of this age and mileage you should buy it.
No scammers. Seriously, I've seen it all. Please email or text to come and look. Text is nine-zero-three-917-two-two86 Serious buyers with certified funds only. No payments, stories, explanations, or scenarios. You bring certified funds, you get the vehicle. First $4300 takes it.
