2008 Mini Cooper S JCW Convertible

Considered a modern collectible, I am selling my very rare 2008 Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works edition.

This beautiful “pocket rocket” has the last of the supercharged engines, coupe’s having switched to turbo’s in 2006 and convertibles in 2009. Mini enthusiasts will always argue over which is better, but the purists will always favor the supercharger over a turbo given the elimination of turbo lag. This JCW produces an incredible 210 hp from the factory!

This beauty sports a 6 speed manual transmission (of-course!).

Comes in classic silver metallic paint with twin black stripes option. Gorgeous navy blue leather interion is a fantastic color combination. All set off by the lovely JCW alloys (these are replacements, I have the originals which have some curb rash).

The sound system was upgraded by a previous owner to a Kenwood stereo with JL Audio speakers and JL Audio sub-woofer box with a built in amplifier. Apparently a $2500 upgrade! It also allows for Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calling & such.

I bought the car in 2016 as a “toy” really and to use as a “Toad” vehicle to tow behind our motorhome. It is equipped with a Blue Ox faceplate towing system, including electrics, if anyone is looking for a super cool toad, ready to hitch up & roll. I can remove the Blue Ox system if desired and put the standard grill back in place.

I have put around 5,000 miles on it in my ownership. It now stands at 58,313 careful miles. It may go up a little as I still like to put the top down and use it around town here in FL from time to time. The Michelin tires were brand new when I bought the car.

The car is fully loaded (except for navigation), the option list is incredible! I have the original window sticker, when all said and done, the car was sold for $44,000.

The car is very good condition, always garaged kept.
The car does have a tiny ding on passenger door and a repair to the rear bumper from a back-up ding, otherwise the body is very clean.

Interior is in great shape. Comes with a convertible hair/air stabilizer to reduce wind buffeting.

This really is a great car, fast, smooth, handling is phenomenal!!! (it is a BMW when all said & done).

The convertible also acts like a big sunroof as well, slides almost half way, nice feature!
