Vehicle Description
For sale is a 2008 Toyota Prius Touring - with just under 182k miles. I purchased this car with 171k miles and it has been a great car, it gets awesome gas mileage and is easy to maintain. This car is perfect for a new driver or a commuter. The previous owner replaced the hybrid battery at 125k miles. The Prius has been well cared for, has leather seats, power windows, 2 key fobs, back up camera, and aux cord outlet. No check engine lights, but the tire pressure sensors are dead and that warning light is on, which is typical for cars this age (because the batteries finally die). I have 4 brand new sensors that I will include with the car, I just haven't made the time to have them installed. The drivers seat does show some wear, but there are no rips or tears. There are some paint issues on the back passenger doors and the hood of the car (see photos), these are minor and cosmetic. Other than that this car is very clean and well taken care of.
There is a slight difference between a Regular Prius and a Touring Prius. The differences are in what the Touring Edition adds to the Prius. Here's a list:
• Sport-tuned suspension
• 16-inch wheels with alloy rims
• A larger spoiler
• High-intensity discharge (HID) headlights and fog lights
None of these additions change the car's fuel economy, emissions, hybrid system or any of the other factors that have earned the Prius so many fans. These were considered more as additional premium features.
There are no major engine or drivetrain issues. I'm only selling because we have a new car and don't have the room for another in the driveway. Nor do we have a need to insure 4 cars with only 3 drivers in the house. Asking $4500. Clean, blue Texas title in hand.
Cash buyers only. In person only. No Exceptions. Price is firm and reasonable.
