Vehicle Description
Let's not waste any time, here are the Pros and Cons of buying this vehicle:
Pros:
- Only 155k Miles, this well-maintained Volvo still has a lot of life left.
- Dependable, I've owned this car since for 11 years and never had to undergo any major maintenance.
- Registration good until 2023
- Smog checked this year so won't need to worry about that until 2024
- Timing Belt replaced in 2021
- All 4 tires were replaced in 2020
- 2nd Owner; first owner was my dad, it was his company car and then I bought it off him.
- Regular oil changes it's entire life
- I have all receipts from any work I've had done on it.
- I also have the CARFAX Report if you'd like to see it.
- Sunroof
- Automatic, leather seats
- Working AC/Heat
- CD Player and Aux Hookup
- Turbo Engine, this thing handles surprisingly well on the highway
- Great gas mileage, can get you to Mammoth Lakes, CA on one tank of gas.
- This sensible sedan is guaranteed to turn heads and will increase your chances of getting laid.
Cons:
- Minor blemishes and scratches around the vehicle
- Windows are automatic, but can be finicky sometimes.
- Was recently in a fender bender and had to get my driver side, front strut replaced
- Have not replaced the fender yet so the damage is still visible, but drives just as good as it used to.
- Sometimes engine doesn't turn over immediately, but have never had it stall or not start on me after 1 or 2 tries. I've brought this up to multiple mechanics and they have all said it's nothing to worry about.
- Driver side, rear wheel, air pressure monitor is broken so it displays on the dash that the tire pressure is low, when in reality it is fine. Multiple mechanics have told me this is not worth replacing, just be conscious of your tire pressure.
- "Regular Maintenance Required" Warning light cannot be reset so it's always displayed on the dash.
- Sometimes the "Anti-skid" Warning light will pop up on the dash even if you're not skidding out.
This car's not perfect, but hey it's 14 years old. Aside from these minor issues the car is running like a champ and will continue to do so for another 50-100k miles if you keep up that regular maintenance! It's a great car for a new driver, I can speak from experience since this was my first car. Asking for $5000 but I am open to negotiating. Come check the car out or reach out to 6three0-Eight7Seven-Eight0Six3 if you'd like me to answer any other questions.
