Vehicle Description
E92 black on black coupe, 6 speed manual transmission, N54 twin turbo 3.0 liter inline 6 cylinder, all wheel drive. This is one of my favorite cars I've ever owned.it's quick, easy to drive, and handles amazing. It's completely sorted with no leaks and the only light on the dash is for the tire pressure monitoring system (the wheels don't have sensors).
I bought this car 5 years ago with 99k miles on it and I did quite a bit of maintenance/fixing when I got it. I basically replaced everything that tends to leak or go wrong around the 100K mile mark and it's been very reliable in my ownership. It's been on several road trips and I wouldn't hesitate to take it on one right now.
New valve cover and gasket
Oil filter housing gaskets
Cam position sensor seals
Water pump and thermostat
New coolant expansion tank
New Vanos solenoids
I've also had to replace the front passenger side axle since I've owned it and installed a new axle support bracket and new engine mounts at the same time. I'm a stickler on general maintenance.all fluids have been changed regularly using high quality synthetics.
The car is modified.full bolt on, as the kids say. It's tuned with MHD to stage 2+ and I'm including a Samsung tablet to run the program on. MHD claims 420hp with this tune, although there's no way it's making that much power at this altitude. But it gives you an idea of the power it's making and how quick it is.
Mods are:
VRSF
-5 inch thick intercooler
-Charge pipe
-Silicone inlets
-Aluminum outlets
-Catless Downpipes w/ DP fix to pass emissions
Burger Motorsports
-Dual cone intake
-Catch can
HKS Super SQV4 Blow off valve
Precision Raceworks Ignition w/ HKS iridium plugs
Rob Beck PCV valve
Vargas Turbo oil cap
Koni Yellow adjustable struts
Apex ARC-8 17x9 wheels w/ Michelin Pilot Sport 245/40/17 tires
It also has carbon fiber kidney grills and a carbon fiber CSL trunk lid.
Extras that are included:
OEM wheels (painted black) w/ Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires
Weathertech mats and sunshade
Carly adapter for coding
Schwaben Scanner
Tunai bluetooth adapter
The bad.the paint is trash in some spots of the car. It's cracking in one spot below the gas cap where you sometimes get that little dribble of fuel after filling. I'm assuming something happened and some of the car was repainted at some point, but I don't know that for fact. The AC doesn't seem to blow very cold.I've never worried about it because I live at over 10K elevation and it only gets to about 70 degrees in the summer. There's an aftermarket front lip on the car that is cracked. The previous owner used a few drywall screws to install it. It's not great, but I've also just never messed with it.
If you're looking for a show car, this definitely isn't it, but if you're looking for a driver's car that's going to put a smile on your face every time you drive, this is a great car! Also, I realize that I live in the middle of nowhere (south of Breck), so I'm willing to drive a bit to show the car to SERIOUS parties. I'm not going to bring it to your house so you can see it, but I'd meet somewhere in the middle for us.
