This van has everything except leather seats and sunroof. Is has been a great vehicle for my family. Always starts and goes like a tank through the snow. Airconditioning blows cold in the summer; Heat is hot in the winter. It has hauled my children and many friends, team mates, marching band members, etc throughout the years as my children grew and participated in school activities. We took a few cross country trips through 23 states and it never let us down. We also used it to tow a pop-up camper about 4-6 times each summer. The 3.8L V6 and 6-spd transmission in this van tows a lot better than the 3.3L we had in our previous 2000 Chrysler minivan. Cruise control works great in the rolling mountians and will automatically downshift to control speed. The 6-speed automatic transmission allows the driver the option to select the gear (either to lock-out overdrive when towing or to manually downshift while driving down hill). Side doors and rear liftgate are electric and can be opened/closed with the key fob or buttons in the driver's console.
Why are we selling it? We generally try to replace our main family vehicle every 10 years or so. We had a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan, then this 2009 Chrysler Town & Country. We purchased a new Toyota 4Runner tow vehicle in 2019 after our kids graduated school and our need for the "people hauler" is now gone. (Did you know that you can fit an entire dorm room's worth of college kid stuff in this van? Amazing amount of room!)
Maintenance:
We are the original owners of this van and maintained it like we were keeping it long-term. Since we were towing, we replaced the transmission fluid at 40K miles and again at 80K miles. We stopped towing with this vehicle in 2019 at about 110K miles when we got our new tow vehicle. All mechanical work done while we owned it was done at the dealer, Shultz Motors in Milan, MI until they closed. Then we switched to
