2009 Honda Civic, 185,000 miles, runs really nice!

I am selling with full transparency, so you know exactly what you are getting. I bought this car in 2011 as a rebuilt title after it went through an accident in its first year of use in 2010. The rebuild was excellent and everything checked out. So now I have been driving it for 130,000 miles and about 9 years, and have never had any issues relating to that accident. So time has told me that the rebuilt title is irrelevant at this point.

The paint is the biggest thing going wrong, as there is plenty of fading on the car. There is one small area on the hood that is beginning to rust, but its been about the same for 3 years now (not spread), so its pretty minor. The TPMS light has been on for years, but doesn't affect anything about the car except that you have to check your own tire pressure now instead of having the light alert you when its low. Also, the button that turns the cruise control on is broken, so there is a piece of tape I use to hold the button down. So the cruise works perfect as long as that tape is on there. Again, inconvenient, but not that big of a deal. The stereo is great and has a great subwoofer and sound system (factory).

The biggest items - tires are in good condition and have probably 30k of miles left on them. And the engine and transmission run flawless. So this car from the mechanical side works great - which to me has been the most important thing. Just a week ago I put in a new starter and new battery, so it turns on beautifully. I also have used synthetic oil every 3-4k miles for as long as I've owned it (9 years). I also did an engine coolant flush last week as part of routine maintenance. Also, the AC and heater work great. I have both key fobs, and they both work great.

I truly believe this car will go a long time without any major issues (my opinion only). It's just a great car in a market where reliable low-price used cars are hard to find. I am selling because I am transitioning to a different car and don't need this anymore. The paint fading on the trunk and sides and the little rock nicks here and there don't do justice to how good its been mechanically! Please ask any questions, and I will let you know very honestly.
