Vehicle Description
2010 Mini Cooper Clubman R56
- 1.6L (non-Turbo) engine for good fuel economy and better reliability than the Turbo - S Models
- 120,000kms original
- 3 door Hatchback with rear suicide passenger door for easy backseat entry
- Fully loaded: Dual Panoramic moonroof, AC, Heated seats, PL, PW, cruise, Bluetooth, Leather Seats.
- 5spd manual with newer 3 year old clutch
- Newer Continental Tires with 80%
- 10" extra rear legroom over Mini Cooper Coupe provides actual legspace for rear passengers, and more cargo room
- Rebuilt title from 2015. The frame/subframe frame was never damaged however, and it has not caused any issue since.
I am an Engineer who purchased this vehicle for my wife, had ALL the major servicing (over $6000 value of parts and labour) and preventative maintenance done with the intention of keeping this car for a long time. However shortly after doing all this she changed her mind about driving manual car and wants an automatic.
All the common Mini Cooper R55/56 timing/cooling and common issues were addressed:
- NEW Timing Chain*, NEW timing tensioner, and NEW timing cassette rails (super important!)
- valves decarbonized
- NEW Water pump, NEW thermostat, NEW coolant hard pipe, NEW coolant
- NEW valve cover with PCV filter
- All Oil gaskets were changed:NEW oil filter housing gasket, NEW crank seal, Oil Pan resealed (absolultey NO Oil Leaks)
- new air filter
- Battery less than 1 yr old
- Brakes have about 75% left
- Tires 80%
You WON'T find a used MINI with all these major proactive services already performed. The Timing chain is very important (and expensive) service as its a common Mini issue which could destroy the engine if not changed.
Frankly most owners don't pay for these services because they are too expensive, and you would bear the cost anyways.
Mechanical inspections welcome. Its a well-maintained car there is nothing to hide. Will also consider trades for an Automatic clubman/countryman.
Serious only. Please email with your phone number included for a response.
