Has been a great family car for us, but kids are growing up and driving themselves, so it's time to move on from the family van. We've always liked the Chrysler Town & Country because of the reliability, comfortable ride, and the convenience of the Stow n' Go seating (if you'r not sure what this is, look it up. a game changer!).
This car is over 10 years old, and certainly not perfect, but it is in very good condition for it's age and has been well maintained (see below). This was not our first minivan, and in shopping for one, the biggest problem we encountered was rust. it's very hard to find a minivan of this age that does not have significant rust issues. This one has very little rust (garaged and washed frequently), with just one rust spot on passenger side near rear wheel well (see pics).
Well-maintained, with regular oil changes and brake maintenance.
Last oil change, January 14, 2022
Rear brake Pads & Shoes, June 2021
Four good tires (Goodyear Assurance) with plenty of tread-wear left
Significant repairs as follows:
-Aug 2018: Starter replaced ($620)
-June 2020: NEW TIPM Module installed ($1500)
-June 2020: Full engine tune-up - spark plugs, PCV Valve, EGR gasket ($402)
-June 2020: Rear wheel speed sensor replaced ($253)
-June 2021: Front Sway bar link ($187)
It is our daily driver for now, so it is registered and insured. If you wan to check it out, please call or text (no emails please). I do screen my calls, so leave a message and I will get back to you.
As a private seller, we are selling "as is" and are pretty firm on the price (cash only). We are NOT in a rush to sell it, but if we get the right offer, we can let it go quickly (with the kids driving, we have enough vehicles to get by for a while). Also willing to drop it off to you so you don't have to worry about temporary plates.
Thanks.
