Vehicle Description
Let’s just start out by saying this truck is probably not for you. Seriously, stop reading. This is not a truck for speedbumps and towing your pop-up trailer on the weekends. This is the real deal here.
Ok, now that we weeded out the tire kickers, where do I start? How about the motor. This rig has a 6.4 Turbo Diesel motor. This was the last year before they started using that DEF $hit. The truck has plenty of power for whatever you need. It does have an SCT tuner that includes maps for towing, stock, and performance mode. They all work, but I have kept it in stock mode for most of its life.
What else? As you can see in the pictures, I installed a leveling kit, so she sits nice and pretty. I also upgraded to bigger tires. 35x12.5x20 BOOM! And if you’re thinking about asking if they make a lot of road noise. FK yeah, they do! You can’t sneak up on anyone with this rig. And if you’re wondering about fuel mileage, it sucks. Look at this thing. It gets about 12 miles to the gallon.
This truck is setup to plow, but don’t be scared. I have had the truck for ~5 years, and I had the plow installed myself. There was no plow from the previous owners. That said, I only used it only to plow my driveway and my parents’ driveway. I am sure some will call bull$shit but whatever. It’s true. I do still have the plow, but it is not included. We can talk about it when you come checkout this rig.
I forgot the mention the mileage! This rig currently has 203k on it. Don’t let that scare you though, this thing is a beast. The estimated life on the drivetrain is ~350k. The only reason I am selling it is because my sister said I don’t have to pay her anymore child support. I got me a new ride.
What’s been done recently ….
Transmission recently flushed and lines replaced to the cooler.
New brake calipers and rotors
Both Wheel hubs were recently replaced
The bed rails were replaced, and bed was undercoated
New Shocks all around (that’s 4 bruh)
2 Brand new batteries
What you should know
- There is some rust over the wheel wells. I could have bought some cheap fender flares to hide this, but that would be $hitty on my part.
- The fuel gauge needs some help. Once you get below ½ tank it reads empty and runs a bit weird. Almost like you’re a 16year old that is learning to drive. Jerky. But it still runs so you can make it to the fuel depot. No worries there
- Tailgate. Occasionally, if oyou hit a bump the right way the tailgate will open. I took the mechanism apart and cleaned it so its better but not perfect. Must be careful when you pickup your keg of natty light, but it’s a good excuse when someone asks you to help them move!
- Winter driving. I have learned from experience that you should use some diesel fuel additive when the temperature dips below 20 degrees just to be safe. I know the fuel stations put this in already but sitting on the side of the road in the freezing cold sucks. Especially when you can prevent it for a couple bucks.
- No service engine lights except for the tire pressure sensor. But who cares about that crap?
Here is a quick video so you can hear and see the truck. Idk what else to say here. You got the general idea. Lace up your work boots, run your fingers through your mullet and come check this thing out. If you message me and ask if this is still available, I will only respond with a picture of Joe Dirt. Why? Because he is a bada$$ and that’s how I roll mofo.
NO trades or keyboard negotiations – Come look at it and we can talk then. Clean title in-hand
