Vehicle Description
I am the second owner of this vehicle, I have had it for about 5 years. It’s been super reliable, can handle any terrain I’ve thrown at it (I’ve taken it up some pretty intense off-roading and it has handled great), it’s very safe in winter driving, and a very comfortable car to drive in.
Facts about this LR2:
-8.3 inches of ground clearance
-3.2 liter inline-6 cylinder
-15 mpg city/22 mpg highway & 17 mpg combined
-All wheel drive
-Terrain response system (general driving, grass/gravel/snow, mud/ruts, sand)
-19 inch alloy wheels
-rain sensing wipers
-power front seats
-dual zone climate control
-aux jack
-2 sets of keys to vehicle
-electrical and hitch set up for towing
-roof rack
-full size spare in trunk
-black leather seats
It is an older car with miles and although there aren’t any MAJOR damages to the vehicle, there are a lot of superficial scratches on the outside of the vehicle. There is some damage besides scratches on the vehicle including a crack through the center of the windshield (from top to bottom), a small crack in the front bumper, some bad paint on the front bumper and right rear bumper (I was sandwiched between two cars on Eisenhower pass on black ice, and I re-did the paint job myself hence the poor quality), there is a small dent on the front top of the vehicle, above the windshield from kayaks, the leather on the driver seat ripping. See pics for these damages. The key is “sticky” when pulling out, ie it needs to be wiggled to get out of the key insert and the battery in the keys died a few years ago so the locks are all manual now. Since buying the vehicle in 2017, I’ve done some maintenance, including:
-3 out of the 4 wheel bearings have been replaced
-back brakes in 2018
-front brakes in 2019
-new struts/shocks in 2021
-All new tires just last month (Bridgestone - Alenza as Ultra all season tire (235/55R19 w/load index 105)
-New battery in 2021
-Replaced spark plugs in 2019
-Replaced downstream oxygen sensor this year
When I got my tires replaced, I was told the back brakes need to be replaced again soon. This car has treated me well the last few years besides all of the typical maintenance for a vehicle of its age.
