Vehicle Description
Up for sale is a gem of an STI. It has 500 whp at the wheels (see dyno image, tuned by All Aspects Motorsports in Chesapeake) with no expense spared on the build, and a butter smooth transmission. It's tuned on the Cobb flex-fuel map, which allows you to run any mixture of 93 pump and E85 corn at any time (boost scaling from ~20psi on gas to ~31psi on E). It's loud, it's fast (for an STI, anyway). Never ran it at a track but it should run 10s. I did run it a few times at the dirt 600' track up in Newtown and I'll never forget this corn-fed gentleman pulling up next to us and yelling out the window "THAT'S A BAD LIL UNIT RIGHT THERE". If that's not an endorsement, I don't know what is.
I'm not enthusiastic about selling it but I just don't drive it much anymore so it's just wasting away in my garage these days. Hoping I can find it a good owner because I've taken good care of it since buying it in January 2018. I've only driven it 600 miles in the last year, and the motor (built in fall 2019) only has appx. 10,000 miles on it. I've pretty lightly launched it a few times, but besides that I've been very careful when applying power (i.e. never lugged, aggressively launched, or heavy throttle before fully warmed up). Hopefully it goes without saying that all maintenance has been performed ambitiously (new motor has never seen oil for more than 1000 miles).
Paint was corrected/polished a few years ago, and it has no dents or scratches (besides a few nicks on the front bumper from bugs and such). Interior is in excellent condition. I replaced all of the plastic trim with OE when I purchased it in 2018 (previous owner had applied fake CF wrap to the old stuff), and the seats have no perforations or signs of significant wear.
