Contact - For email response: Please include key phrase “ Modified Genesis Coupe ”, when (dates & time ranges) you can meet in Annapolis, MD to see it. If the posting is up – the car is available. My goal is to limit robot emails and lengthy back and forth convos that lead to nothing. I do not need offers to help sell it. No unreasonable & low offers please - there are stock genesis coupe cars of similar year with higher mileage around the $9-10K mark. Reason for selling: I have multiple vehicles and want to reduce to 1 primary. I no longer drive this often – about 3x a month since 2020. Goal would be to sell Mid Oct thru Mid Dec.
Mechanical: great condition. Full Synthetic oil for life of car. No accidents or vehicle report issues. Has had spark plugs and engine gaskets redone around 80-88K miles. Has had 75K and 90K mile checkup and maintenance review. regular synthetic oil changes 6-8K mi cadence. It has every other option including power everything, USB, Bluetooth, GPS Navigation (just updated), leather power seats, auto dimming mirror, Bluelink, (sunroof) moonroof, heated seats, Brembo brakes, push button start, limited slip differential, etc. Needs: fuel gauge sensor needs recalibrating or unstuck - the level does not match the gas fill level once below 50%. TPMS is from the aftermarket wheels.
MODIFIED & TUNED to 93 octane “supreme gas” (has better MPG +5 and +50 HP/torque @ 6500 over stock - will upload dyno chart on request). Passes emissions test and inspections. Car has significant amount of modifications that are tasteful and most are mechanical/performance oriented over cosmetic. This is more of a casual track oriented car.
Cosmetic: good condition, some dents, dings, scrapes – 85% can be addressed with full detail; the rest with a wrap/plastidip/paint marker; drivers seat area wear on leather and armrest. 2 dents due to roof rack over torque - tightening (may be fixed with a hairdryer and suction to pop the dent out), 1 dent on rear bumper area. 1 scratch driver rear left near wheel well, curb rash on all wheels. No smoking, No pets. Garage kept, limited use in winter/snow/salt. Bumper/Fog light area fitment are not dialed in but can be.
Able to be bundled +$400: 2 spare 305 rear tires (new), 6 spare rotors (used good depth left), 6 pairs brakes pads (used, good depth left), spare synthetic oil Castro 5W-30 5Qts x2, stock intake, spare locking nuts that are recessed, spare alternator, Yakima Rack attachments, Pentosin CHF202 Power steering fluid, DOT 4 Brake fluid
Modification list:
1. The best and most expensive mods are the double staggered 2 piece BC Forged Concave wheels. The front is an 18” x 9.5” w/ a 265 (245-275) front tire. The rear is a 19” x 10.5” w/ a 295 (285-305) tire.
2. Dyno tuned to run on 93 Octane fuel by SFR. It was a stingy dyno but the car gained 50 hp & 50 tq at 6500 rpm; and it had the largest gains in the midrange. We tuned conservatively. It’s still a bit rich and the timing is very conservative. The engine is now much torquier than it was stock. MPG honestly jumped up a lot after that modification. +5 MPG typically. Dyno chart available.
3. In has an R2C sealed intake. The intake tubing has been insulated to prevent heat soak in traffic; verified by OBDII device.
4. The intake plenum was balance flow ported and coated w/ a ceramic coating by GrimmSpeed.
5. It also has a plenum spacer. These mods greatly reduced intake temperatures.
6. The car has Stance adjustable coil-overs lowered from stock.
7. The car was corner balanced afterwards and the car weighed 3307# exactly. (in 2013)
8. The car has PBM adjustable castor arms in the rear. This allows a perfect alignment even w/ the lowering.
9. The car has Whiteline sway bars front and rear.
10. The car has a full insulation kit installed which greatly reduced cabin noise.
11. The car has tinted windows and has a clear UV tint applied to the front windshield.
12. The car is hard wired for a Passport w/ a mute button near the shifter.
13. 1 Carbon fiber hood. One is painted but w/ some accents left CF to show thru.
14. The car has billet machined hinges w/ different shocks that are made for the (non)weight of the CF hoods.
15. The car has some better brake pads installed.
16. Megan Racing Transmission Mount
17. Short throw shifter
18. Custom shift knob tungsten type - heavy
19. Rigid frame spacers
20. Ark – H Pipe Mid Catalytic converter delete, SS cat back exhaust system.
21. Front bumper quick release
22. Diode Dynamics LEDs internal and external
23. Camber bolts and wheel alignment
