I've got a family and it's time to part with my Subaru at 170,000 miles. I've had it regularly serviced and she runs well. She has a manual transmission (stick), newish tires, and is very fast.
There are a few cosmetic items and normal wear and tear associated with her age. A little love and she will be in good shape again. These blemishes are priced in.
