Vehicle Description
This has been a great truck and I hate to see it go however, my commute has gone from 10 minutes to over an hour and this is not a long-distance commuter. It’s the Tacoma TRD Off Road, short bed, 4 wheel drive with a 6 speed manual. This took me forever to find when I initially started looking, manual short beds aren’t super common. It has a locking rear differential and all the bells and whistles. The truck has some aftermarket modifications, all installed professionally, they are;
3 Inch lift
Bilstein dampeners front and back
Toytec springs
33 Inch KO2 Tires
The tires have less than 2,000 miles on them, guessing about 90+ % of the tread remains. (I do wish I had gone slightly smaller, they rub just a little on sharp turns.)
TRD Cold Air Intake
Aftermarket, Looks great and helps the engine breath. Slight power increase.
TRD Skid Plate
You can see it in the pick. It protects everything up front and it looks great.
Pioneer AVH-2550NEX Touch Screen Stereo
It has XM, CD, Android Auto/Apple Connect and my favorite, a screen shut off.
Some Cons;
The tire pressure light won’t go off. Per Toyota, this is because I have aftermarket tires and new sensors were put in and they can fix it but that will cost “at least” $700 to fix. I can live with that light for that kinda money.
As stated above, slight tire rub in sharp turns.
Just under 190k miles on it.
I haven’t paid this truck off entirely. All this means is that if you choose to purchase the truck, we have to do the transaction at my bank. I have already spoken with them, we make an appointment, go in together, make the transfer/check/cash and they sign it over to you. One more step, not fun but it is what it is.
I have really taken the time to treat this truck as well as I possibly can. I keep it clean, I change the fluids when necessary, rotate the tires and do my best to never beat it. I changed the oil on 11/28/2020 and the diffs, transfer and tranny fluids were changed in August. I have had it in 4 wheel drive maybe a handful of times and never in extreme conditions, feel free to look under neither, you’ll see no scratches, dents or dings. Any questions, please feel free to shoot me an email or text, I probably won’t pick up a call from an unknown number.
